[All Church] Haiti Fund Run

Hey Cornerstone! I would like to take this time to make you all aware of a fundraiser that I am doing for the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The 7.0 magnitude earthquake killed roughly 300,000 people and left over 1 million homeless. The people of Haiti are still in desperate need of aid. Therefore I am organizing a personal fundraiser to help out. I would like individuals of Cornerstone to be a part of this project.
	
So here is the plan. I have signed up to run in a 100 K (roughly 62 miles) on April 10. However, I can not run such a distance. What I will do is complete as much of it as I can. If you decide to make a pledge, you will choose how much money you want to donate on a per kilometer or per mile basis. For example, you can decide to give 50 cents for every mile I complete and if I run 10 miles you would owe $5. 

Now I need all the help I can get because my goal is quite lofty. I wish to raise anywhere between $5,000 and $10,000. The money I raise and collect will be sent to the World Service Office of the Salvation Army. The money will be used specifically for the relief efforts in Haiti. You should also know that you do have the option of making a flat donation (this is slightly discouraged because running HURTS and I want to be sure I'm running for a large sum). If you write a check, it must be made out to "Haiti Earthquake".

As for the distance, I can't even guess how far I'll go. I have been injured for over a year so it is hard to tell. I could end up only running 10 miles or so. However, I may aim for between 20 and 30 miles, so pledge wisely! There is also a way to track me as I run using the race website called www.madcity100k.com. I would like to encourage you all to ask relatives to help out as well if you see them over spring break. Like I said, I'll need the help.
