Hello church~
I have recently met a friend while picking up the Boone kids from their
school. Her name is Lauren. She is a very awesome women going through some
tough times. She is a single mother of two working the overnight shift. She
also just moved to bloomington normal to be closer to her family. I am
trying to love her and get to know her better. We have shared quite a bit
about our lives to each other and I'm very glad to have met a good friend.

She has recently (today) discovered that her babysitter (college student) is
leaving this next week. She is in desperate need of a reliable, good,
trustworthy, person to care for her children while she is at work.
This job includes overnight stays if not wanting to get to her house at 3 am
of course. This would most likely mean women only. (I suppose a guy would
work if he got there at 3 am rather than spending the night)

She has sent me this letter to tell about her situation, job requirements,
and pay.
The pay is modest but I think someone could use any amount of money and she
could really use a good, loving, honest, christian sitter. If you think
about it you are asleep most of that time and you really are only watching
them 6:30am ish till 9-10am ish. That is only about a max of 15 hours a week
of actually working/ getting them ready for school, and dropping them off.

So please if anyone is interested contact me and Lauren. I want to make
sure, if I am the one she has trusted to ask her church, that I know you or
get to know you if you will be so involved on my word.

Thanks so much everyone! Let me know if you are interested.

Sincerely,
Tracy Battaglia

REQUEST FROM LAUREN:

"My current sitter is a college student, who has had some recent challenges,
and will be moving back home to Alabama next Saturday. I was wondering if
you may know someone that may be interested in the following:

Overnight sitter needed Monday - Friday.
The hours I am needing care are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:00AM
until 8:45 AM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00AM to 9/10AM. My oldest
attends school each morning at 8:15AM, while my youngest is in preschool
only 3 days a week beginning at 8:45AM.

The sitter will need to take both children to school, on school days, but
the youngest will be with the sitter Tuesday's and Thursday's until I am
home from work which currently varies from 9:00Am - 10:00AM. It is
possible however, that I may be able to make earlier arrangements
(8:00/8:30am) with my daughter, if need be. The sitter is welcome to come
and stay the evening prior as early or late as they would like. I have a
modest home, but a small extra room in my home which is used as a toy room;
yet, has an extra bed, and Television for the sitter.

The pay for this opening is very modest. The current pay for this position
is $125/ week, which the state is picking up the majority of that balance.
So the person, must be willing to accept Monthly pay from Child Care
Resources, and the difference is paid weekly by me. I am desperately trying
to stay within that pay window, but for the right person, I understand that
I may need to sightly increase the payscale.

School clothes are laid out the evening before, but the sitter will need to
dress the children, wash hands & face, feed them oatmeal, and take them to
school. The children are loving, fun, and very sweet. The sitter should be
patient, loving, kind, and professional in their dealings while working. I
do not allow company in my home while, I am not here.

Please pass this on to anyone, you think may be a good fit for our family.

Thank you,

Lauren
