[All Church] Important: Please Read

Dear Church Family,
 
As most of you probably know, I have been spending the last 8 months raising 
support to be on staff at cornerstone full time, and for those who didn't 
know that or don't even know who I am, that is why.  This road has been a 
difficult one for me, bringing up a lot of personal struggles and issues, 
and God has done alot in growing me up and stretching me.  But through it 
all one thing has never changed;  I love this church and this campus with 
all my heart and am so excited to be apart of the work God is doing here.  
Recently the time came where a decision needed to be made.  Emotionally and 
spiritually I was at a point where I could not continue the process of full 
time support raising with my whole heart.  Issues with anxiety and 
depression were really taking its tole, and those close to me could tell 
that I simply wasn't myself anymore.  I wasn't being able to be the person 
God has made me and called me to be.  
 
Therefore, I have made the decision to be released on staff at a part time 
basis.  I have begun work this week and will return to involvement in 
homegroup and the other ministries of our church.  To suplement income I 
will be returning to substitute teaching a couple days a week.  The ultimate 
goal is still to be on staff full time and to give my full heart and 
attention to seeing God change the lives of students at ISU, but it has just 
become necessary for that path to look a little different for me.  I am 
thrilled to be back and look forward to being apart of your lives once again 
(or for the first time!).  If you have any questions or comments please feel
