You Are Invited!

Who: Girls Only! (Sorry boys, you can stop reading now!)
What: Wedding Celebration for Emily Carroll 
When: Saturday January 17th at 7pm 
Where: The Mack Shack (203 N. Linden, Normal IL)  
RSVP: To this email or by phone (309-369-9252) to Meagan Scheid by Wed. 1/14 (please indicate when you RSVP if/how much you’d like to give towards their gift, and also what type of dish you could bring. See Below!)  Thanks! 

We will be giving one gift at the shower as a group. If you would like to give towards the gift for Emily and Ross, we will be collecting monetary donations to buy them a gift card they can use to purchase additional items they need after the wedding! They requested a gift card to either Target or Bed, Bath, andBeyond.  Please indicate when you RSVP to Meagan whether you will be participating in the gift giving and how much you’d like to give. Please don’t feel obligated to give a certain amount. Anything is acceptable!  (You can give your gift of money to either Meagan or another Mack Shack member by the first Homegroup or at the Women’s Breakfast the morning of the 17th. Please make sure Meagan knows who gave the gift of money.) Thanks! 
Drinks will be provided and we are asking girls to get into groups of 2-3 to bring something to share. If there are 4 of you who want to do something together, please try to come up with 2 things to bring. You can bring some sort of appetizer (hot OR cold), veggie/fruit tray, dip, or dessert. Please let Meagan know what type of item you are bringing so we can try to have a combination of foods. 
If you would like to bring any girly things to do (facial masks, nail polishes, chick flicks, girly games, etc.) you are encouraged to do so!  
I would like each girl to bring 1 3X5 note card with a recipe of your choice on one side, and a favorite scripture passage on the other. Please be sure to have your name with the recipe so Emily knows who shared it with her. We will combine all of the recipe cards together for Emily, so that when she goes to cook them she can be encouraged by a scripture that day, and also remember her sisters in Christ. If you don’t have any blank 3X5 note cards, I will have some available, but just bring your recipe to write on it (or type it up and you can paste it on the card)! Thanks!
