Hi Friends,

 

I'm writing to let you know that we received a call yesterday from Amor
Ministries telling us they are canceling all of their trips due to the
continued violence in the city.  Thus, we are no longer headed to Mexico.  A
lot of us have put in a great amount of time and energy from support raising
to administration and we have 2 weeks to figure out what's next.  We will be
doing something!

 

So, in three short points here's what I want you to know:

1.       Over 20 homes were going to be built in Juarez over the next few
weeks.  We are going to leave Amor with whatever finances are necessary to
build the 2 homes we committed to build.

2.       We will be writing anyone who supported us to let them know of the
trip cancellation and our new plans.  We will invite them to contact us if
the new trip does not reflect their desire for the use of the funds.  

3.       We will be traveling to either Alabama, Mississippi or Louisiana
most likely involved in Katrina relief.
