[All Church] 205 Linden Yard Sale

Hi everybody - Melissa Schreck here.

 

As many of you know, Jerry and I are selling our property which is currently the home of the Linden Home Group. We are closing on the house on May 20th. 

 

We have several items, furniture, appliances, etc..in the house that need to be sold which is why we are planning to have a yard sale. Since this house has been a part of Cornerstone's history since Jerry first acquired it in 2005 (and b/c we need to attract lots of customers), we would like to invite all of you to participate in the yard sale. This means if you have anything you want to get rid of you can sell it at our sale (in case this isn't clear - you get the money for anything of yours that is sold - I don't want you to think we want you to join in so that we can take all the money and run) :)

If you don't have anything to sell, but would like to help us that day, we'd love to invite you to do that too! We will definitely need help in the early (and I mean early) hours of the day hauling large furniture and appliances out to the yard.

 

So, here are the conditions if you would like to sell your stuff at our sale....

1. your items need to be clearly marked with the price and your name (if your name isn't on it we won't know who to give the money to)

2. All items need to be dropped off at 205 N. Linden on or before Friday May 15th 

3. Call me before you drop items off at the house (309) 531-8556. I need to make sure there is a place to put your stuff and arrange a time for you to do so -so that I can meet you there and to make sure it's not an inconvinience to the guys who are living there.

4. You are not required to attend or even stay for the duration of the sale even if you are selling items. If you will be out of town by that time, we will keep track of the money you make and will write you a check and send it in the mail.

5. If #4 applies to you, leave us your address so we know where to send the moolah.

6. It will be your responsibility to collect any of your unsold items (if you want them back) immediately following the sale (May 16th). Any unsold and uncollected items will be donated to a local charity immediately following the sale. No exceptions! WE WILL NOT STORE YOUR UNSOLD ITEMS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Place: 205 N. Linden, Normal

Date: Saturday, May 16th

Time: 7am until 2pm (probably...this may change)
