[All Church] FINAL Relay Email

Hey guys,

This is the last email you will receive from me about relay. First, our spot, is across from McCormick on the sidewalk aiming towards the middle of the quad...otherwise known as 2D. We are all going to meet there at 5pm with all of our stuff to get set up and situated and also so everyone can check in.  The opening ceremony starts at 6pm!  I will be receiving an email no later than 10am on Friday telling me where Relay is. If it is NOT on the quad, I will then send out another email letting you guys know that it is moved to the fieldhouse, but hopefully that will not happen.

Here is a list of the things to bring...
Bottled water

Lawn chairs

Sleeping bags

Materials to decorate your campsite

Signs with your team's name

Grill w/charcoal, matches, lighter fluid, tongs, etc. (please
follow proper disposal procedures)

Lawn chairs

Flashlights

Blankets

Tents

Non-alcoholic beverages

Tennis shoes

Camera

Sunscreen

Poncho/ umbrella (just in case)

Materials for on-site fundraisers

Any Relay money you still need to turn in

Food and snacks

A change of clothes, warm clothes for nighttime

Attire for Mr./Ms. Relay (cancer-fighting drag show)

Wacky Lap attire/gear

Holiday Attire- Remember it's a CELEBRATION!!

I am also asking if everyone can make a card or something small for the survivor basket. I have a basket and I am going to put some candy and a card in there. Also, don't forget to bring some extra money so you can participate in other team's events around the quad and get ready to HAVE A BLAST!!

DON'T FORGET THE THEME IS PIRATE, SO COME DECKED OUT. Also, here are some of the themed laps incase you wanted to know..
6pm - Survivors, 7pm - Mini Relay Participants, 8:30pm - Save our
Earth, 9pm - Walk Like Jack Sparrow, 10pm - Walk the Plank, 11pm
- Luminaria Ceremony, 12am - Wheels (bikes, roller blades/skates,
skateboards, NO ENGINES), 1am - Conga Line, 2am - Just Dance, 3am -
Anything but Walking, 4am - 3-legged, 5am - Everybody walking

Finally, tell friends to come and hang out in the beautiful weather!! I can't wait to see everyone!!
