[All Church] Mexico update and database

Hi friends,

I hear it's snowy for those of you up in Chicago right now!  It looks like
it's going to be a white Christmas this year!

 

OK. Here's a quick Mexico update:  so far, if everyone who has communicated
to us (this includes your friends if you've invited them) we are right on
the money for the number of people that I threw out to you that I hoped to
take to Mexico.  38!!!  What an awesome opportunity.

 

I wanted you to know that I am monitoring the safety issues that are a
concern of all of us going to Mexico.  In January I will be talking to Amor
officials about the conditions down there.  As of now, I am reading the news
and keeping abreast of the issues.  If you are planning on going with us on
the trip and have specific questions, don't hesitate to call or email me.

 

***Here's what the attachment is all about:  this is the official database
form that I want you to fill out and return to me by January 12th, 2009.
This is for you to let us know the people you plan on writing to asking them
to partner with Cornerstone to make this trip possible.  I will be compiling
the lists and my lovely assistant Gina will be using this to help us keep
track of the support we receive.  I've put my name in as an example.  Please
don't send me a letter!  I will be going to Mexico and contributing
financially myself and writing 35-40 letters for support.  (Now if you're
going to LT, then send me a letter!).

At this point we have MANY friends planning on coming with us!!!  This is
great and it means two things:  One, if you are going to Mexico, might you
consider writing more than the 20 letters required (this is if you are
paying $49)?  I want to be clear that you don't have.and you should really
feel OK about writing 20.  Two, if you are not going to Mexico and thought
"I don't need to write letters", might you really consider doing so?  Let's
partner together in this work for God's glory!
