Hello Fellow Cornerstoners!
I want to let everyone there is a change in plans for our fabulous Christmas
celebration. We are going to push our swinging Christmas back a year. Lindy
Hop next year! BUT>.......... THIS YEAR is even better! We have a marvelous
theme.
it's so great I have to spell out..
E....L...F
Yes and an "ELF" Christmas! Who doesn't love the movie? I do. Smiling is my
favorite. Sugar is my next favorite.
Come prepared to eat lots of sugar.... just kidding.. maybe.. there will be
some healthy options and appetizers too.. if maple syrup isn't your thing.
Come prepared to play elf games and make toys at Santa's workshop. There
will be hidden ELFish prizes be ready to hunt. We be playing the movie too
(in case you haven't seen it)
This lovely themed party encourages dressing appropriate. Elf costumes
(either as an elf or as a character in the movie) If you don't have a
costume that is fine just wear everything green and red that is in your
closet. everything.......
Also if there is snow we'll build a snowman and have a snowball fight.
(bring whatever you need and we'll store it until we play)

QUOTE of the Day:
*Buddy:* Sounds like somebody needs to sing a Christmas Carol.
*Jovie <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0221046/>*: No way.
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: The best way to spread
Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.
*Jovie <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0221046/>*: Thanks, but I don't sing.
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: Oh, well, it's just like
talking, except longer and louder, and you move your voice up and down.
*Jovie <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0221046/>*: I *can* sing, I just choose
*not* to sing. Especially in front of other people.
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: If you can sing alone, you
sing in front of other people. There's no difference.
*Jovie <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0221046/>*: Actually, there's a BIG
difference.
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: No there's not. Wait...
[*Starts singing loud and off-key*]
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: I'm singing/I'm in a
store/and I'm siiiiiingiiiiing!/I'm in a store/and I'm siiiiiingiiiiing!
*Gimbel's Manager <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0522324/>*: HEY! There's no
singin' in the North Pole!
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: Yes there is!
*Gimbel's Manager <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0522324/>*: No there's not!
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: We sing all the time!
*Gimbel's Manager <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0522324/>*: No you don't!
*Buddy <http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002071/>*: Especially when we build
toys!
